Hi, my name is Tina. I'm an English teacher, and today I'll be discussing with you how you can write and develop a paragraph. The first thing you want to do when you're writing anything is to brainstorm. Come up with your main ideas. Think about what you want to get across to the reader. What is it exactly you want to say? The next thing is to review the format of any paragraph. And the format of any paragraph is to think first about the topic, the supporting examples, and finally, it is your concluding sentence which wraps up the paragraph, while also reiterating that main idea. Finally, you want to edit and proofread. This is very important, and a lot of people skip this step. Whenever you're writing a paragraph, look over and see, does my topic make sense? Do my examples, and my explanations, and my details go along with the topic? And does my concluding sentence not only repeat the topic, but does it add something new or transition into the next paragraph? My name is Tina, and those were a few ways to write and develop a paragraph.
